Sometimes, you add an email account from cPanel, and you get an error message The Email Account Already Exists. The first reason for the error is that you may be attempting to add an existing email account to the list and so, make sure that the email account you are trying to add actually does not exist.

The second reason is, you attempted to delete this email account earlier which turned into an error. This removed an email account physically, but it left the traces in log and config files.
